Creamy and Delicious Stewed Chicken Slices

Ingredients:

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons flour 4 cups chicken broth 1 cup milk 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves salt and pepper to taste 8 ounces wide egg noodles or cooked rice, for serving 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
